OBITUARY--John Winslow Miller was born in Yorna, Penn. on the 1st day of Jan. 1814, and died in Sherman township, Story county, Iowa, Feb. 23, 1890, aged 76 years, one month and 23 days. Funeral services conducted by the writer at the Lutheran church at Johnson Grove. An aged widow is left to mourn her loss.--J. A. SMAY.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: John Winslow Miller was the son of Henry Miller and Nancy Winslow. His "aged widow" was Abigail "Abbie" (Spicer) Penn whom he married on 9 October 1887 in Story County, Iowa.
