Deaths.

Brown.--Mother Eliza Brown was born in Westmoreland county, Penn., in the year our Lord 1812 and died at Iowa Center, Iowa, March 4, 1889, aged 77 years, 7 months and 11 days. Sister B. was the mother of nine children six of whom are living. She came to Story county, Iowa, with her husband and family in the year 1856 and soon after their arrival she was happily converted and united with the Baptist church and continued faithful in the service of the Lord until the Master called her to rest. The funeral discourse was from the text selected by herself, found in Matthew, 24th chapter and 44th verse. A very appropriate asmonition to all her friends. W. J. HAHN.
