Mr. D. P. Billings died Monday, July 9th, at the home of his son in Lyons, Colorado, at the age of 65. He had been long a sufferer from paralysis, and his health steadily failing, he and Mrs. Billings went about the first of May to Colorado in the hope of receiving benefit from the climate. He was much better for a time, and the end came somewhat suddenly to his friends. His feeble health prevented his becoming generally acquainted in Nevada, but he was a man of attractive disposition and will be much missed by his friends.
