Ole Hegland, of Boonesboro, a section hand on the Northwestern, was killed between Ames and Kelley last Wednesday afternoon. He made a mistep and fell off from the handcar and was run over by a dummy loaded with ties that was being drawn behind. He leaves a wife and seven small children in a destitute condition.
