Mrs. Kate Halley Mullen, a former student of the Nevada High School, a daughter of Wilson Halley, and pleasantly remembered by many of our citizens, died at her home in Des Moines last Saturday. Her remains were brought to Nevada Sunday and buried Monday in the Mullen settlement cemetery. She leaves a husband and a three-year-old daughter besides her old home friends to mourn her great loss.

--The funeral services of Mrs. Kate Halley Mullen, of whose death we made mention in last issue, were conducted by Rev. J. Auracher of Des Moines of whose church she was a member.
