--Rev. and Mrs. I. Reid were called to Cooper, near Jefferson, the last of the week by the illness and death of Mrs. Reid's mother. The funeral services were held on Sunday and the remains taken to the old home, near Burlington for burial.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mrs. Isaiah Reid was Mary Ellen (Braden) Reid. The deceased, Jane (McClure) Braden, was buried in Kossuth Cemetery near Mediapolis, Des Moines County, Iowa.
