From Nevada Representative January 26, 1887

--A. C. Eckard* and wife were at Ankeny, Polk county, Sunday called there by the death and burial of Mrs. Eckard's sister.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "A. C. Eckard" was Andrew C. Eckard (also known as Cornelius Andrew Eckard.) He was the husband of Mary Esther Jones. Mary Esther (Jones) Eckard and her sister (the deceased) were the daughters of Samuel Jones and Eunice Powers.
