Mrs. Emma Knapp
Dies Sunday at
Story County Home

Mrs. Emma Knapp, age 96, died Sunday at 12:30 a.m. at the Story County Home where she had lived since March, 1961.

Mrs. Knapp was formerly of California, coming to Ames to visit a sister two years ago. She became ill and was brought to the Story County Home, where she had since resided. Her sister, Mrs. Ida Hiner of Ames is the only survivor.

Arrangements are being made for graveside services at the County Home cemetery, where she will be buried.

The body is at Ryan's Funeral Home.
