Aaron Smith of Milford township died very suddenly last Thursday of heart disease. He was a pensioned soldier of the Union, and a worthy citizen. He was brother of our townsman, F. M. Smith.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Aaron Smith and Francis Marion Smith were the sons of Daniel Smith and Elizabeth Ogden. Remarkably, the article does not mention Levi Smith or Charles Wesley Smith, their brothers who also lived in Story County.
