The wife of J. N. Carr*, who lives east of town near East Indian, committed suicide yesterday by taking bed-bug poison. The deadly mixture was taken in the early morning, and resulted in death at 2 P. M. Dr. Munk was called, but it was too late to counteract the effect of the poison. No cause is assigned for the sad act. Mrs. Carr was about 49 years old and the mother of several children, one of whom is married.

--The coroner's jury which was held last Wednesday over the body of Mrs. Carr found that she came to her death by taking corrosive sublimiate in the form of bedbug poison, and rendered a verdict in accordance with the facts.
