Also, Thursday at 5 o'clock A. M. at the residence of J. D. Gamble in Deer Grove, of consumption, Miss Ada Mullen. A large number of relatives and friends followed the remains to their resting place in Mullen cemetry. The services were conducted by Rev. Skogsburg.

She would not now exchange
This bliss and Heavenly worth,
For all the grandeur of the world,
Or passing joys of earth.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mary Adaline "Addie" Mullen was the daughter of John H. Mullen and Susannah Hewitt. Her sister was Elizabeth (Mullen) Gamble, wife of John Durrett Gamble. She was buried in the Mullen Cemetery also known as Pleasant Run Cemetery.
