--Wm. Fultz, one of the old and respected settlers of Nevada Tp., died last night after an illness with inflamation of the bowels.

Wm. H. Fultz whom death last Wednesday we were enabled to only briefly mention last week, was 69 years old and had been an exemplary resident of Story county 23 years. He was a worthy member of the Evangelical Church. A wife and six children mourn his loss. His funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. A. Walton, of Iowa Center, assisted by Revs. Ferguson and Hummelbaugh, of Nevada, and were largely attended. The burial took place at Bethel Cemetery.
