OBITUARY

Helen Bernice, the four and a half months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Chaffin died yesterday morning at 10:20 at the Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. The little one had been taken down there only a short time before and on Saturday had undergone an operation. This little girl had lived long enough to establish a place for herself in the home that cannot be filled and her loss will be greatly felt by her parents and her two little brothers, Lamar Kenneth and Carroll George. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2:30 at the Evangelical church in this city, Rev. McKinley conducting the service.
