Mrs. Wm. Harding and Mrs Albert Bowers received the sad news of the death of their grandfather, Mr. J. A. Check which occurred at Madrid Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Bowers went to Madrid Monday. Mrs. Harding did not go until the day of the funeral (Wednesday) on account of her little son who has not fully recovered from an attack of the grippe. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones.
