Steven "Brownne" Brown
July 26, 1949 - September 20, 2015

Steven Edward Brown was born to Isaac and Blanche (Burke) Newbolds in East Chicago, Indiana. Brownne married Brenda Ann Schwab on August 24, 1990 in Belle Plaine, Iowa. Prior to retirement, he worked as an auto mechanic at Trickle's Tire and Automotive in Ames. Brownne was a NASCAR fan with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver, enjoyed being outdoors - camping and fishing, and spending time with his family.

Brownne passed away at 66 years of age on September 20, 2015 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Brownne is survived by his wife, Brenda Brown of Ames; his children, Steven Brown, Jr., Jerry Brown, Bobbi (Dave) Gruca and Cambrelle Brown (Marcus); ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Linda (Jim) Riese, Frank (Pam) Brown, Shirley (Jim) Miller, Marilyn (Tim) Gaston, Steve (JoAnn) Newbolds, Evelyn (Mike) Snipes and Joyce LePes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughters, Lisa, Connie and Bonnie; and his sisters, Phyllis and Lou.
