Patrick O'Donnell, another old settler, died Sunday evening April 3, after a short illness. The remains were laid to rest in St. James cemetery April 5th. The funeral services were conducted in the Catholic church by Rev. Father Nichols. Patrick O'Donnell was born in Ireland 78 years ago, came to the United States in 1860, was married Bridget Brady in 1867, came to Colo 34 years ago, lived in town for awhile, then moved onto a farm north east of Colo which continued his home till his death. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Luke and Connor. He was a highly respected citizen and neighbor, and leaves many friends.
