Colo Chronicles

D. P. Wood died at his home three miles north east of Colo April 28. Short funeral services were held at the house Saturday and the remains were laid to rest in the Colo cemetery. He was born in Pennsylvania 63 years ago, served as a private in the Union army, and was a resident of Sherman township for the past 28 years. He leaves to mourn, his wife, three daughters living in this county, one son in Louisiana and one son in Texas, besides other relatives and many friends. The two sons were unable to reach here for the funeral. He had spent the last winter on the Pacific coast for the benefit of his health.
