Friday afternoon Robert Harding east of town was taken ill with paralysis and died Saturday evening. The funeral services were held at the Evangelical church Monday forenoon by Rev. Bamford, assisted by Rev. Boreman and remains were laid to rest in the Colo cemetery. Robert Harding was born in Oswego county, New York, 58 years ago and dame to Story county in 1866 and made his home here ever since. He was married to Jane Wyatt in 1869. He leaves to mourn, his wive, four sons and three daughters, two children having preceded him. He leaves also a host of friends.
