Cambridge, Dec. 5--The death of Mrs. W. B. Illingsworth takes from this community another of its respected citizens. Fort the last three years she has been in failing health. In her recent illness she was confined to her bed less than three weeks. She bore her suffering cheerfully and welcomed the relief.Ellen M. Meyers was born in Fayette county, Penn., April 2, 1852. In the fall of 1874 she and Mr. W. B. Illingsworth were married. During their first years Mr. Illingsworth was a traveling man. Their first home was in Davis City, Decatur county. Here they lived a little over a year. They came to Cambridge and for five years farmed two miles south of this city. In 1885 they located on a farm of their own seven miles north of Nevada. This was their home for two decades. McCallsburg claimed them for the next ten years. In the fall of 1915 they returned to Cambridge and have resided there ever since.
