Mary Miser Stull,
Mrs. Mary Miser Stull died at the home of her son, John Stull, the morning of December 1, 1906. Had she lived until February 22 next, she would have been 80 years old. Mrs. Stull was born in Ohio but with her husband, moved to Iowa at an early date and has lived about Ames for many years. She was the mother of six sons, five of whom still live, and two daughters, one of whom is still living. Of the children all were present at the funeral except Charlie who is located at Trenton, New Jersey, and Adeline, who lives in Washington. The immediate course of her death was a complication of stomach troubles. The funeral sermon was preached at Ontario, Sunday afternoon, December 2nd, by Rev. Liverett of the Christian church at that place.
Tuscarawas county was her native home. She was married to Jacob Stull March 15, 1849 and they moved to Iowa in 1855. Her husband died in January 1906.
Early in life Mrs. Stull united with the Episcopal church and held to the faith until death. As a neighbor she was beloved, as a sufferer patient and as a mother devoted. Interment took place in Ontario.
