Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Ardis Ose Fincham was born August, 30, 1920 to Ellwood and Amy (Tvedt) Ose on a farm near McCallsburg Iowa, but lived most of her life in Ames. She was a farm wife, later a secretary, and an active volunteer throughout her retirement years for Mary Greeley Medical Center, the City of Ames and Worldly Goods. First and foremost, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ardis passed away peacefully while in the presence of family on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Bickford Cottage in Ames at 94 years of age.

Ardis is survived by two daughters, Anita Hanson and Joan Abegg; her son, David Fincham; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Odale Ose; her sister, JoAnn Lantz; and her daughter, Barbara Churchill.

She was not alone on earth when she passed and is now in the hands of our Lord.

Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
