MISS MARY KINTSLEY PASSES TO REWARD
AFTER 18 YEARS OF SUFFERING, YOUNG LADY PASSES PEACEFULLY FROM EARTHLY LIFE
Wednesday evening at 7:30 at her father's home, west of the college, occurred the death of Miss Mary Kintsley.
Deceased was 27 years of age and has suffered from tuberculosis of the bone for eighteen years. When she was 12 years of age it was found necessary to amputate one of her limbs, since which time she had to walk with the aid of crutches. Despite this fact, however, she was beloved by all who knew her for her seet disposition and the remarkable patience with which she bore her affliction, and her father, in speaking of his daughter, often referred to her as "The Sunshine of their Home." Miss Kintsley studied music in the music department of the college, although she was not a graduate.
Deceased leaves, besides her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Kintsley, one brother and four sisters and many relatives in and around Ames, to mourn her early death.
Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. L. C. Harris of the Christian church in charge. Interment will take place in Ontario cemetery.
