LaVonda "Bonnie" A. Tice was born May 23, 1915 to Lawrence and Grace (Smith) Ray in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the dedicated wife of Ralph Tice. Bonnie lived in Ames most of her adult life and was employed at Bourns in Ames for 25 years. She was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII, and a member of the Women's Bowling League in Ames. She love to travel, crochet, fish and spend time with her grandchildren and nieces.

Bonnie passed into God's hands at 99 years of age on February 5, 2015.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Doris Maley, of Camarillo, CA; two nieces; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and eighteen great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Tice; her daughter, Arlene Smith; her son, Earl Tice; two brothers; one great-granddaughter; and one nephew.
