Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Eunita Maureen Stensland was born March 29, 1923 to Fred and Gladys (Soderstrum) Evans near Ames. Eunita graduated from high school and married Clarence Sherman Stensland after the end of World War II. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed ballroom and square dancing and her card club.

Eunita passed away at 91 years of age on January 23, 2015 at the Madrid Home.

Eunita is survived by two sons, Robert Sherman (Julie) Stensland, of Dallas, Texas, and Donald Alan Stensland, of Slater; and three grandchildren, Courtney Stensland, Matthew Stensland and Michael Stensland. Robert owns an architectural firm in Dallas, Donald manages the family farm and works from the Ballard school district. Courtney is a junior at The University of Oklahoma, Matthew attended Iowa State University and both Matthew and Michael work and reside in the Iowa area.

Memorials may be made out to the Fjeldberg Lutheran Church.
