Dolores was born on March 3, 1925 in Pilot Mound, Iowa to John and Clara (Sargent) Flockhart. She graduated from Boone High School. Dolores married Eugene “Gene” Boster on July 15, 1950. Dolores was a homemaker and enjoyed baking and having coffee with her neighbors. She liked being outside working in her flower garden. Her family was very important to her.

Dolores Elaine Boster, of Story City, died January 21, 2015 at the Story County Senior Care in Nevada, Iowa at the age of 89 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa (Mark) Mathis of Roland, Iowa and one daughter-in-law, Sally Boster of Nevada, Iowa; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, “Gene” on April 13, 2012; two sons, Joni Boster and Dave Boster; three brothers, Elwyn, Billy and Kenneth; and a grandson Garett Boster.
