RICHARD KUPER

The father of Nesco principal Jerry Kuper, died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1982, at his home of heart failure. Funeral services for Richard Kuper, 85, were held on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m. in the first Christian Church of Iowa Falls with Pastor Charles Fleming in charge. Burial was in the West Frieland Cemetery southeast of Ackley.

Mr. Kuper was born and raised in the Ackley area. He married Jennie Tjabring and the couple had two children, Judy Kuper of Iowa Falls and Jerry Kuper of Zearing.

A World War II veteran, Kuper was also a retired employee of Ralston-Purina at Iowa Falls after 37 years on the job. Surviving are his wife, son Jerry and daughter, Judy; two brothers, three sisters, and three grandsons. Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister.
