MARIE MILLS

Marie Mills, 85 of rural Ames, died Wednesday, May 11, 1983 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Rev. James L. Dotson of the First United Methodist Church in Ames will officiate. Burial will be at the Ames Municipal Cemetery.

Mills was born to William H. and Addie (Van Patter) Mills on April 30, 1898 in Ames. She lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry, who died in 1949 and a sister, Sadie, who died in 1972.

Visitation will be held at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames Friday evening, May 13. Memorial contributions may be made at the Union Story Bank, Ames.
