Rites Tuesday in Nevada for M.E. Eacret, 82

Funeral services will at the Ryan Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. for Marshall E. Eacret, 82, who died Sunday morning at the Story County Hospital.

Mr. Eacret, Ames, was former Nevada resident and had been ill for two years.

Born January 20, 1880 in Jennings County, Ind., he was the son of James and Mary Eacret. He lived in Nevada for 58 years and was retired employee of the Ray Cook Construction Company.

Survivors include a son, Marion Eacret of Ames; two grandchildren; a brother, James of Piper City, Ill.; a half-brother Frank White of Seymour, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Edwards of Seymour, Mrs. Arminta Grace of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Kate Fiedler of Seymour, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister and his wife Lenora who died in 1964.

The Rev. Leslie Howard will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
