Services today

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Monday) for Minnie C. Leland, 71, of Maxwell, who died Saturday, May 1, at Grand Avenue Nursing Home in Ames.

Burial was in the Cambridge Cemetery.

Born July 14, 1899 at Rhod[e]s, Iowa, Mrs. Leland lived in the Maxwell area most of her life.

She is survived by three brothers, William Connelly, James Connelly and Steven Connelly, all of Anderson, Inc. plus several nieces and nephews.

Her husband Arthur preceded her in death in 1956. There were no children.
