HAL H. McKIM
Hal H. McKim, 69, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 1983 at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.
McKim was born Jan. 11, 1914 to Isaac and Mary Hefley McKim on a farm near Plover. He graduated from Plover High School in 1932.
He was married to Marian Hubbell on April 8, 1936. They moved to the Nevada area in 1938 and farmed north of Nevada until 1979.
He was also a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17 at the Ryan Funeral Home. Rev. Harold Wagner will officiate. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife; one son, Larry; three daughters, Janis Diehl of Ames, Lois Allen of Pella and Marjorie Sesker of Orlando, Fla.; six brothers, Frank of Nevada, Fred of Plover, Bill of Tulsa, Okla., Don of Clayton, Okla, Ike of Colona, Ill., and Marion of Davenport; three sisters, Edith Wright of Emmetsburg, Mary Overrocker of Mesa, Ariz., and Marjorie David of Seal Beach, Cal.; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
