Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Harold Douglas McMaines, 83, passed away in his home on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

Services will be held at a later date.

Harold was born June 13, 1930 to Jack and Alice McMaines in Des Moines, Iowa. Harold retired from his profession as a furniture mover in 1992, but always had a passion for painting. He painted for most of his 80 years and donated much of his work to local businesses and organizations. Harold and his wife had lived in Tonopah, Nevada for over 20 years.

Harold is survived by his wife, Lillie McMaines, of Tonopah.
