Isabel Fantz died yesterday

Isabel Fantz, 84, Nevada died Wednesday afternoon a 1:55 p.m. at the Story County Hospital where she ad been a patient for about a week. She had been in failing health for several months.

Born May 13, 1878 in Carlock, Ill., the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Fantz she had been a resident of Nevada since 1899. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Nevada.

Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Fantz of Nevada and Mrs. Catherine Rogers of Des Moines as well as three nieces and three nephews. She was the aunt of Mrs. Amy Fausch, 622 Grand Ave.

Miss Fantz was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from Ryans funeral home in Nevada with the Rev. Frank P. Hladkey officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
