MRS. MARY SHALLEY

Mrs. J.W. (Mary) Shalley, 73, of Marshalltown passed away at the Marshall Area Community Hospital East Saturday afternoon where she had been admitted earlier. Born July 18, 1889 in Des Moines, she was the daughter of Chauncey and Anna Boyles Beebe. She attended the Des Moines school and grew to womanhood in that area.

On October 16, 1920, she was married to J.W. Shalley in Boone; after this time they made their home in Nevada and later moved to Marshalltown.

She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Deloris Rose of Marshalltown adn Mrs. Dorothy Buchwald of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services will be held from the chapel of Estel Perrin Funeral Home in Marshalltown Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Harley Gelhaus officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
