SADIE PETERSON

Mrs. Sadie Peterson, 1047 G Place in Nevada, died Sunday afternoon at the age of 81 at the Story County Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 3 weeks.

She as born October 11, 1892 in Cambridge to David and Lena Beckley and had been a resident of Story County her entire life time. She was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be held from the Memorial Lutheran Church Wednesday morning at 10:30 with Pastor Harry Myklebust officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, John David Peterson of Cedar Rapids; 4 grandchildren; one brother, Roy Beckley of Ladysmith, Wisconsin; 6 sisters, Mrs. Odessa Riddlesbarger and Mrs. Lyda Ball of Nevada, Mrs. Don Baum of Des Moines, Mrs. Roy Pierce of Winter Park, Florida, Mrs. Alice Emde of St. Louis, Missouri and Miss Mabel Beckley of Barrington, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Grant C. who died in 1942.

Friends may call at Ryans Funeral Home in Nevada until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday. A memorial fund has been established.
