Marshall Eacret Died Sunday

Marshall E. Eacret, 82, 1421 Stafford Ave., formerly of Nevada, died Sunday morning at the Story County Hospital in Nevada. He had been in ill health for the past two years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Leslie Howard officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Mr. Eacret was born Jan. 20, 1889 at Jennings Co., Ind. He was a resident of Nevada for 58 years and was a retired employee of the Ray Cook Construction Co.

Survivors include his son, Marion Eacret, 1421 Stafford Ave., two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister and his wife, Lenora who died in 1964.
