MRS. WALTER McDANIELS

Mrs. Mona McDaniels, 43, of Nevada, died at Iowa sanitarium Sunday morning, following a surgical operation a few days previous.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at Central Presbyterian church, after which she was laid to rest in the Nevada cemetery by the side of her husband, Walter S. McDaniels, who died November 1, 1932.

Born at Ames, Dec. 26, 1892, she lived here as a young girl but went to Nevada when the father, the late Frank N. Fowler was elected county treasurer.

There she attended the public school, graduated and grew to womanhood, to be married September 23, 1914, to Walter S. McDaniels.

Three children were born to them and they are left to mourn the early passing of the parents. The children are Marjorie, Robert and Jeanette.

Besides her children she leaves two brothers, Donald of Syracuse, N. Y., and Albert of Lake View, Fla., her stepmother, Mrs. Hattie D. Fowler of Nevada and half-sister, Miss Dorothy Fowler of St. Louis.
