Walter McDaniel

Walter S. McDaniel, 42, well-known young business man of Nevada, died Sunday morning at 6:40 at his home, after a lingering illness which had confined him to his bed for about seven weeks.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at Central Presbyterian church, with his pastor Rev. Benthin in charge, and interment in the Nevada cemetery.

Mr. McDaniel, born near Mt. Vernon in Lawrence county, Missouri, August 2, 1889 had been a resident of Nevada since 1897, when he came to Nevada with his parents, H. A. and Mary McDaniel, at the age of 8 years.

He was united in marriage to Miss Mona Fowler, September 23, 1914 an to this union three children were born and with the wife and mother survive the deceased.

The children are Marjorie, 16, Robert, 12, and Jeanette, 9.
