DOROTHY THOMPSON

Dorothy Maxine Thompson, 52, of rural Nevada, died Monday evening, June 21, 1982 at Mary Greeley Hospital.

She was born August 19, 1929 in rural Nevada, the daughter of Elmer and Lucille Williams Whitaker. She attended Halley Country School and graduated from Nevada High School in 1947. On Sept. 16, 1948, she married Robert D. Thompson at the E.U.B. Church in Nevada.

Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a 20-year employee of Donnelleys. She was a member of the Nevada Methodist Church.

Mrs. Thompson is suvived by her husband, Robert; three daughters, Carol White of Des Moines, Marla Fulkerson of Minneapolis, Minn. and Jolene at home; three brothers, Everette Whitaker of Nevada, Max Whitaker of Nevada and Walter Whitaker of Boone; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 24, at 1:30 p.m. at the Nevada United Methodist Church with Rev. Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
