Hazel Marie Flynn
May 1, 1911 - July 11, 1991

Hazel Marie Flynn, 80, of Nevada died July 11 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

She was born May 1, 1911, at Yuma, Colo., to Hadley and Lulu Jane (Lockard) Railsback. She was married to Merrill Dale Flynn on May 25, 1934, at Sharon Springs, Kan. and lived her life as a homemaker. She was a resident of Nevada for 41 years and a member of First Christian Church, Nevada.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Ardyce Selby of Nevada; one son, Merrill Galen Flynn of Nevada; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Henry Everett Railsback of Ellensburg, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation was held last Friday at Chet Ryan Mortuary, Nevada. Services were held Saturday at First Christian Church, Nevada. Burial was in the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
