BRENDA ANN COMBS

Brenda Ann Combs, 19, of 636 5th St., Nevada IA died Saturday, May 14, 1988, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa city IA of a massive stroke. She had been ill two days.

She was born March 27, 1969, at Marshalltown IA to Carlis and Stella Huff and lived at Nevada her entire lifetime.

She was married to John R. Combs Feb. 7, 1987, at Story City IA.

Survivors include her husband, John R. Combs; a son, David Alan, eight months; her parents, Carlis and Stella Huff of Nevada; a brother, John E. Huff of Milford CT; two sisters, Sharon L. Hunt of Edmore Mi and Linda J. Carleton of Angwin CA, and her grandmother, Opal Buford of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Alan Huff.

Mrs. Combs was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Funeral services will be held from Chet Ryan Mortuary, 5th St. and G Ave., Nevada, on Wednesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Charles G. Dye officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery at Nevada.

Friends may call at Chet Ryan Mortuary after noon on Tuesday, May 17.

A memorial fund has been established.
