Samuel Ayers, Of Nevada, Died

Samuel Ayers, 72, died yesterday at about 4 p.m. at Story County Hospital where he had been a patient since Thursday. He has been in ill health the past year.

He was born in Story County.

He is survived by his wife, Effie, and two daughters, Mrs. Lola Dirksen of Waterloo and Mrs. Norma Briley of Nevada.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday from the Ryan Funeral Home.
