Helen E. Wiley, 67, of 637 10th St., Nevada, died Monday, May 38*, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.

She had been ill for the past year.

She was born to Daniel and Josie Evens April 25, 1912, in Shellsburg, Iowa. She married Lester Wiley Feb. 26, 1936, in Shellsburg and was a resident of Nevada for 37 years.

Mrs. Wiley is survived by a son, Wayne W. Wiley of Bay City, Mich.; three brothers, Clair Evens of Kalama, Wash., Pearl Evens of Urbana, Ia., and Ray Evens of Shellsburg, Iowa; and two grandchildren, Craig and Kevin.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lester, two sisters, one brother and her parents.

Services will be held Thursday, May 31, at Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Skip Bell officiating. Burial will be at Nevada Cemetery.
