W. R. CORDLE

W. R. "Smokey" Corcle died Feb. 19, 1985 in Weslaco, Tex. He was the husband of Gayle French Cordle of Nevada. She died in 1978.

Mr. Cordle formerly owned Cordle Cartage Co. which operated in Iowa, Minnesota and wisconsin with headquarters in Charles City, Ia.

He spent his winters ind Florida and later in Weslaco.

Survivors include a daughter Joyce Cordle Stenseth; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a sister.

There will be a memorial service in Charles City at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Mr. Cordle's cremated remains will be interred in Nevada Cemetery. Gravside services will be held there Saturday, April 20, at 1 p.m.
