Evelyn C. Prescott
May 5, 1913 to March 15, 1992

Evelyn Christina Prescott, 78, of Nevada died of cancer at Rolling Green Village. She lived in Nevada for the past 60 years, after moving to Nevada from Boone. She married Earl Prescott on Oct. 22, 1934, at Des Moines. She was employed by Nevada National Bank as a teller. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Gerald Prescott of Nevada and Allan Prescott of Slater; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Earl in 1985; two daughters, Barbara Prescott and a brother Edward Peterson.

Private graveside services for burial of the cremated remains will be held in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, is handling arrangements.
