Eloise V. Morton Sowers
August 16, 1914 to May 10, 1995Eloise Sowers, 80, Altus Ark. died May 10 at Turner Memorial Hospital, Ozark, Ark. of a heart ailment.
Sowers was born Aug. 16, 1914.
She married Galen B. Sowers in 1937.
She was the retired plant manager of the EON Corporation and a homemaker.
She lived in California for 32 years before moving to Arkansas in 1969.
She attended the Grace Lutheran Church in Clarksville, Ark.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Galen, who died in 1990.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Joanne Hartley, Ankeny, two step-granddaughters, one step-grandson and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 13 at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery with the Pastor Brad Braley of the Central Presbyterian Church officiating.
Arrangments were handled by Chet Ryan Mortuary.
