Lillian Hougen, Story City, died
STORY CITY (TNS) -- Lillian Hougen, 49, did at the Story City Hospital about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. She had been a patient there the past five weeks.
Born in Story City, she was an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and was parish secretary for many years.
She was also part owner of the Story City Book Store at one time.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Emanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. H. T. Masted officiating. Bruial will be at the McCallsburg Cemetery.
She is survived by two brothers, Ernest Hougen, McCallsburg, and Bryon Hougen, Cedar Rapids, and two sisters, Mrs. Esther Paulson, 611 10th St., and Mrs. Mabel Groth, Mason City.
The body will lie in state at Larson Funeral Home, Story City until 11 a.m. Friday.
