This newly wedded couple established their first home in Kingman county, Kansas, where they lived for ten years. They then moved to Jones county, Iowa, where they lived for one year. She was member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, of Fernald and unless prevented by illness was always in her place when the hour of worship came. Now God had called her home and her work is ended, but her works do follow her. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
