R. A. Prescott died Thursday

Ray A. Prescott, 53, died unexpectedly about noon Thursday [December 21, 1967] in a Nevada doctor's office.

Mr. Prescott married Dorothy Callahan June 17, 1939, at Bethany, Mo. he was employed as a mechanic with Story-Polk Farm Service, Nevada.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a stepson, Jack Ihle, Nevada; a granddaughter; three brothers, Harold Prescott of Marshalltown, Robert Prescott, 419 1/2 Main St., and Richard Prescott of Oregon, and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Wagner, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Geraldine Miller, Nevada, and Mrs. Lois Tiffany, Collins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Memorial Lutheran Church, Nevada, with the Rev. Harry Myklebust officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

The body will like in state at Ryan's Funeral Home, Nevada, until Saturday noon.
