Rites set for Archie George

Archie George, 83, Nevada, died about 5:30 a.m. today at Story County Hospital where he had been patient about four days. He had been in ill health for the past six months.

Born at Castalia, he had been a resident of Nevada for the past 17 years. He was a retired salesman. he was a member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Nevada Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie; two daughters: Mrs. Eleanor Throne, Rollins, Hills, Calif., and Mrs. Lorna Spender, Saratoga, Calif.; a sister Mrs. Anna Hinricks, Pamona, Calif. and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:33 p.m. Monday from Ryan's Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Basil Grimes, a member of the family, officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
