MRS. LILLIE M. GEORGE

Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Ryan Funeral Home for Mrs. Lillie M. George who died Sunday morning at her home at 1102 1/2 Sixth Street, Nevada.

Mrs. George was born in Story County January 19, 1890, the daughter of William and Sarah McConnell Coxworth. She was a lifetime resident of Story County.

Mrs. George is survived by 2 sons, Clifford Miller of Nevada and Dale Miller of Maxwell, 1 daughter, Mrs. Hazel Downey of Des Moines, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Leota Hogan of Marengo, Mrs. Cordelia Smith of San Diego, California, and Mrs. Adie Timmons of Longwood, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother and her husband.

Burial was in the Nevada cemetery followed the Tuesday services where Rev. Basil Grimes officiated.
